INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

Learning objectives are different for every individual. We work with students and their families to develop, set, and facilitate goals that align with the student’s interests and passions. This involves learning that is tailored to the preferences and abilities of various learners, as well as instruction that is paced to a student’s needs.

THE UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE

Upon acceptance into our service, we work with new students and their families/guardians to discuss levels of support, set goals, and to plan a schedule. First year students then start their first semester by participating in their respective university's orientation to familiarize themselves with all services their institution has to offer. Semester timetables, goals, and learning strategies are reviewed and  implemented to assist each student in achieving their goals.

OUR TEAM OF

EDUCATION FACILITATORS

Educational Facilitators provide students with the tools to get the most out of their university experience. In addition to assisting students to become classroom-ready, they provide modified course materials suited to each individual’s learning needs and aspirations. Students attend lectures independently; encouraging them to develop key social skills and naturally-supported networks.

CAMPUS ENGAGEMENT

You will belong to an extended community of students and faculty. It also means opportunities to experience campus clubs, services, and events.

CONNECTING TO PROFESSORS AND CAMPUS STAFF

Connecting with professors and Teaching Assistants (TA) is an important part of the authentic university experience. Although we are your primary contact on campus, we encourage you to expand your networks to include campus as a whole. Accessibility to resources and experts linking to your interests and passions is one of the best parts of University life.
